All is Calm, All is Bright

"And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night.  An angel of the Lord appeared to them and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified.  But the angel said to them, 'Do not be afraid.  I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.  Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you;  He is Christ the Lord.  This will be a sign to you:  You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.' "

Luke 2:8-12

On this silent and Holy evening, I want to wish you all, dear friends, a Merry and Blessed Christmas!

Come and Get it... Homebound Issue 5 is HERE!

Homebound 2013 Issue 5 is coming out very soon next week, but it is available here for pre-order right now!  This one is stuffed to the brim with inspiration making it a great coffee table book all year round or even wrapped up under the tree as the perfect gift!  You can find it *Here* in print version shipped right to your door.  And if you hurry, the first five orders will get a bar of handmade delicious milk soap!  It doesn't get much better than that, I'd say!

On another note,  today is the last day of the Holiday Housewalk!  Oh boy, did it go fast, but it sure was a ton of fun, wasn't it?  They say time flies when having fun and I couldn't agree more!  Jennifer Rizzo, you are the best for coordinating it for all of us and thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for inviting me along!  I also want to send out a HUGE thank-you to all of you!  I have never had more blog visits and sweet comments than this week and you have overwhelmed me to tears (the best kind!) with your support!  I can't express my gratitude enough for all of you for coming over to peek into our humble little farmhouse!  Wow!  You sure know how to make a girl's day, so thank you all again!  Want to take a second look inside?  Please *Click Here*, or another gander at last year's Christmas tour?  Simply *Click Here*.

Now that the Holiday Housewalk is coming to a close, (don't worry, you can still tour it again and again if you like!)  I would love to peek into all of your Christmas homes, so please grab your camera to capture your holiday's best then head on over to Jennifer's blog on Monday, December 9 to join the Holiday Housewalk Linky Party there!  AND to top it off your home may be selected to win a spot in next year's Holiday House Walk!  Sounds like a great time and you certainly won't want to miss it!  So shall I see you at the party on Monday then?  I will be looking for you and do try not to be late! :)

The most wonderful time of the year is upon us and it's time to deck the halls once again!  Yay!  I love this season the most, don't you?  I am simply delighted to be one of many lovely Christmas homes featured in Jennifer Rizzo's Holiday Housewalk 2013!  Welcome to Day 3 of the tour and I hope you are having a blast!

You have just dropped in at Stop #15 of the Holiday Housewalk to our home situated in the rolling farmlands of northern Michigan!  We are so glad you are here!

Want to start this merry parade of homes from the beginning?  Simply click *Here* or on the 'Deck the Halls Holiday Housewalk' button above!

If you hadn't had a chance to pop into Courtney's gorgeous French Country Cottage at Stop #14, you must head over right away for some serious jaw-dropping inspiration!  To go back and check it out, please click on her button above.

Now that you are all caught up, welcome, welcome all!  Thank you for being here!  So without any further introduction, please do come in and enjoy our little Christmas home tour!

My family and I would like to wish you a very Merry and Joyful Christmas!  As you begin to deck your own halls with the untangling of lights, trimming of the tree, and even through the sweeping up of that broken glass ornament (yes, I did drop one!  Oops!) please remember our precious Savior born in the manger, for Jesus is the real reason for all of this.

"For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders.  And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."
Isaiah 9:6

Thank you, THANK YOU for coming by!  It has been wonderful having you!  The tour doesn't end here by any means (in fact we haven't yet reached the halfway point!  Yay!)  Next stop in the tour is At the Picket Fence to Vanessa's adorable home in the Pacific Northwest!  Please click *Here* or on her button above to head on over!

Have a Very Vintage Christmas!
